After careful review and meeting with numerous industry stakeholders, AHC has formed a coalition of over 30 equine organizations which have significant concerns and oppose the “compromise.” While it is unlikely that the “compromise” bill will be released in time for a formal floor vote before the end of the year, the horse industry must call on all senators to prevent its being attached to an end-of-year spending bill or other “must pass” legislation.
