Protect Community Health from Methyl Bromide Emissions

Methyl bromide is a hazardous air pollutant known to cause severe neurological and respiratory problems, yet it is commonly used at log fumigation plants. DEQ is considering new protections to limit emissions of methyl bromide, and is currently accepting public comments.

Tell DEQ you support a strong proposal that adequately protects NC communities from this toxic air pollutant, and urge them to set the Acceptable Ambient Level (AAL) for methyl bromide at the lowest possible level.
