Help Make Speed Camera Program for Roosevelt Boulevard a Reality

Senate Bill 172, which would create a five year pilot automated enforcement (speed cameras) program for Roosevelt Boulevard in North and Northeast Philadelphia, must be voted on by the State Senate in Harrisburg before it can go to Governor Wolf's desk.

The bill would slow down motorists on the Boulevard, saving the lives of both pedestrians and motorists, and allow Philadelphia to study this important safety measure. Between 5-10 people die each year due to speeding on Roosevelt Boulevard.

The Senate will take up the bill any day now.  Please email your State Senator today and urge them to vote YES on SB 172.
